Plot 9, April 1, total N application 50 lbs
We grazed several plots with the brood cows first to get ahead of the before we could get the yearlings out.  The buff colored cow in the foreground gained over 1 point in BCS in the 6 weeks of grazing.  The red whiteface calf is hers and weighed 170 lbs at 6 weeks.
These first 4 pictures demonstrate the difference in ground cover from different nitrogen application rates.
50 lbs were applied to everything in the fall, then 0,37,50,and 75 lbs were applied in succession, with 3 replications.
